How pricing works
Here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find the figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the level, the length of the class and how many classes a week a dancer takes. Pre-Ballet is the shortest class and Ballet 5 the longest. The figures are on our registration page, and we go through them with you at the placement visit.

Registration
A registration covers the school's file for your dancer, the studio's insurance and your place in the parent portal. It is due when you register for your first session, and again each fall.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly, by autopay through the parent portal, or by the session. You can ask to change how you pay before a session begins.
Siblings
A second dancer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register, and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed Saturday class can be made up on Sunday, in another class of the same level or the level just below it, within the same session. Message us the week before when you can.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Costumes are ordered in the winter and billed before the recital in May, one for each dancer. The recital has a production charge, and guests need tickets. Ballet shoes, a leotard and tights are bought by the family. We don't enter competitions, so there are no entries or travel.
A costume for each dancer, ordered in the winter

Shoes and dancewear, bought by the family
No competitions, so no entries or travel
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice so the place can go to a family on the waitlist. A costume already ordered for the recital is still billed.
Help with tuition
Ask us whether assistance is open this month. We talk it through with each family privately, at the desk or by phone.
